To compliment your corporate event you can choose from our corporate menu. This is an ideal opportunity to relax, have a chat about your event and analyse your results. If you wish to have food we advise booking in advance however drinks and confectionary are always available.

Corporate Events

JDR karting & Darklight Lasertag offers a great venue for corporate & team building events. We have a meeting room in which to conduct your business meeting or product launch. You can select either karting, lasertag or both with the option of full catering in our cafe. 



Combo package

Add lasertag to your event and take advantage of a combo discount. Lasertag is great fun for all ages for both ladies and gentlemen. We suggest playing 2 or 3 games for your party. 3 games take about an hour to run. You can choose different games to suit your requirements. We offer solo games and team games. The team games can consist of 2,3 or 4 teams per games. We can create various tournaments for whatever size your group is and however many teams.

The arena can accommodate up to 34 players per game. If your group is larger than this we will create a format where some players will have a break where they can observe the other players on the CCTV screens whilst having some refreshments in the Pit Stop Cafe.

You may wish to have just lasertag on its own without karting in which case we can increase the number of games to suit your time allocation.

You have total flexibility to tailor the package which suits you best. We are pleased to advise you on the best package to suit your requirements, time restraints and budget. You are also welcome to visit our venue for a tour and we will be delighted to show you around and discuss your needs.

An example corporate day out could be a 2 hour karting event, 30 minutes break for light refreshments, an hour of lasertag, followed by a 20 mins break and then on to an hour Segway experience.Your total stay with us could be around 5 hours. We can arrange for full catering at the end or you may prefer to visit one of our local restaurants to complete your day. A sample cost of such a package without food could be £53 per head.

Pit Stop Cafe



We suggest starting off your visit with us with an exclusive corporate karting event just for your group only. We will provide full safety instruction, race suits, helmets and gloves.

Our Sprint Events are the most popular choice, which are suitable for as few as 7 drivers and can accommodate a maximum of 70 people. 

The Grand Prix which costs £35ea is ideal for mixed groups which are not overly physical. For more energetic groups we suggest opting for our slightly longer version the Super Prix which costs £40ea.

Both sessions commence with a practice session for you to get used to the circuit and the karts. You will then progress to the qualifying heats which are 20 laps and 25 respectively where drivers will score points according to their finishing positions in order to determine the top 12 drivers to go through to the Grand Final. The final is 15 or 20 laps respectively.

The top three finishers in the final receive trophies on the rostrum.

This lends itself to an ideal photo opportunity.

For team building events we would suggest our endurance events which involve splitting the group into teams who will then share their allocated kart. Each team will need to make pitstops for driver changes and a fuel stop on our longer events. Lap by lap results are displayed on the monitors so each team can see their position.

Awards are given to the top three teams.
